At flour + water, our core philosophy is sustainability; a farm to table restaurant. The cuisine is true Italian, rooted in a fresh pasta program, which produces numerous hand rolled shapes daily, as well as classic wood fire oven Neapolitan Pizza. We work directly with bay area farms to support a daily changing menu. All butchery is done in-house, using locally raised whole animals.
Central Kitchen is part of the ongoing conversation about what California cuisine means. California is a young state, and right now it’s an exciting time to be collectively working towards a defined reality of what our cuisine is. We are sourcing locally and sustainably, and aim to create an evolving menu of refined food in a casual setting.
Salumeria is a deli and larder that marries the traditions of the old world with the food culture of San Francisco. Taking inspiration from the artfully crafted cured meats of Italy and integrating these recipes with local ingredients, Salumeria aims to showcase a selection of house-made salumis and prosciuttos with a California sensibility. With our daily offerings of sandwiches, antipastas and the curated selection of cheeses, oils, honeys and the like, our shop functions as both a lunch time destination and an after work grocery stop.
